I have heard this line all my life. As a child I would usually respond with some stupid response like "at home watching PJ & Skipper" (for those of you unfamilliar with the Matel Barbie clan, those were Barbie's little sisters). But as an adult, and yes I continue to get asked that question from grown adults, I just give them a funny look and say "I haven't heard that one in a long time - elementary school maybe?" But now I have a reason to answer anew! I have a new friend that I am quite interested in, named Ken.
I met Ken at Sunday School and we got to chatting for a couple of weeks and we hit it off nicely. We got the chance to go out last Wed. night to watch old people sing karaoke at the American Legion, and then on Thursday we took Abigail to the park. She loved it! She had such a great time, but I think Ken fell in love with her almost immediately. I can see why, she is such a cutie and going to be a heartbreaker! I added some of my fav pics. Stay tuned to see where this new adventure leads!
